The test project combines different tasks which must meet specic technical requirements.

Competitors must have knowledge about
- typography and layout
- graphic design and suitability of colors
- color management and ICC proles
- pre-press techniques for oset printing
- dierent le formats
- ability to use computers and professional software
- ability to implement process and spot colors
- ability to create original vector and pixel graphics
- ability to produce nal PDF le for printing
Test project:
- All competitors have similar Apple iMac’s
- Competitor will use Adobe CC programs: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Bridge
- Competition will last 3 days
- No internet use during the competition is allowed
- The test project combines dierent tasks which must meet specic technical requirements
- All materials (text, pixel and vector graphics, instructions) needed for test project will be saved to competitors computer before competition by the organizing team
Evaluating and criteria:
Subjective criteria:
- Creative process – max 10 points
- Final design – max 40 points
Creative process:
- Idea and originality.
- Understanding target audience.
Final design:
- Quality of the composition
- Quality of the communication and visual strength
- Quality of the typography and layout
- Quality of the color scheme and implementation
- Quality of the picture manipulation
- Quality of the nal printed and postpressed prototype
Technical criteria:
- Ability to use computer and software (implementation of technical instructions) – max 30 points
- Final files, format, and conformation to technical descriptions – max 20 points
Ability to use computer and software:
- Resolution of pixelgraphics
- Color space and color management
- Optimal usage of printing sheet
- Final measures of design
- All elements are in use
Final file, format and conformation to technical description:
- File format conforms to task
- ICC profiles are in use as demanded
- Final PDF conforms to task
- Final files are saved as demanded
